Merry Christmas To You

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I know today is a very busy and special day for everyone
but I just had to post my last Christmas cards for the season
using the most PERFECT  Tutti Designs die for today!

I have three cards using this die that I absolutely love!

For the first card I went  'soft blues', an embossed background, a few chipboard pieces
and a Tutti Designs Stitched Oval for the Madonna die background.

The second card uses pretty pinks, designer papers, paper doily (purchased)
and a few sequins.....I love the detail this die has.

Last card was pretty simple by adding a ribbon/bow, sentiment and a matching
background paper.

I surely wish you a fabulous holiday and hope you have enjoyed my cards today!

'T' Is For Tree at The Alphabet Challenge

It's Alphabet Challenge time and  we are to the letter 'T'
which stands for TREE.

A few years back I won a stamp set from Stampendous
called Jumbo Top Hat Snowman and part of the set
was this cute little tree and birdie stamp.

I have lots of 'tree' things I could of used,
but this seemed perfect to use not only because it's cute
but it's fast for this time of year when I am so busy!

Just a little coloring and I added some Berry Red Nuvo
and Glitter White Blizzard Nuvo,
pretty designer paper and called it a day lol!

You can see all the other pretty trees from the design team on the
Alphabet Challenge blog HERE.

The Cabin

Brrrr...we have another fabulous mood board for our
challenge at Double D and the theme is
'Let It Snow'.

Geez, there were so MANY ways I could of gone with this challenge,
but I think you will see right off which one I decided on!

I have had this die for a very long time, in fact it might have been
one of  my first orders I put into Dies R Us years ago!

I am sure this die from Tattered Lace called 'cabin'
wouldn't appeal to everyone, but since I live a log home
it appealed to me right off lol!!

But can't you see this used year round for all the seasons,
Spring flowers, Fall Leaves,  and great for a masculine card with pines and deer/rustic...
well anyhow, I love it!

I used a snowfall embossing folder (THoltz) for the background,
Memory Box Grand Forest Archway for the trees,
vellum behind the windows, paper pieced the doors and fence railings
and a red velvet bow to decorate.
I also added Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard.

Make sure to visit Double D to see all the amazing (as always)
creations from the Design Teams!!

Peace On Earth

This is my post on the Tutti Designs blog today.

One week until Christmas and the countdown begins!
I am sure this time of year we are all striving for
which is the die I am showing today.

I made three different cards using this die.
The first card simply has an embossed snowfall background
with a few snowflake stickers.
The die was cute form a blue metallic paper
(nice and shiny IRL)
then adhered to a Tutti Designs Stitched Square.

The second card, the die cut was once again adhered to a
Tutti Designs Stitched square.
A banner was added along with a few green 'dew drops'.

For the last card I added the die cut to a black scalloped circle
on a pretty piece of designer paper,
then added a few pearls for a bit of elegance.

More Christmas Cards

Hi all, I have a bunch more Christmas cards
to share today I made for the Tutti Designs Store.

But before that I just wanted to mention that ALL
my card designs that were created for the store were PIRATED!
they all had a watermark in the corner but these thieves removed them
with software!!!
Not only the cards but the die designs themselves were stolen.
So please, please don't buy from these companies.
I won't mention their names as I really don't want to steer
anyone to the sites, but please note that this is THIEVERY
and in time can put our stamps and die companies out of business....
oh yes it is not just Tutti Designs being hit but most ALL
stamp and dies, including Tim Holtz, Stampin Up,
Impression Obsession, Frantic Stamper and on and on...
so please don't buy from them, they are thieves and it is wrong!

Okay onto the cards:

Thanks for looking, can you believe I still have two more
batches to show....then moving on ...whew!!

Whittle Moose

Last challenge of the year is on the Dies R Us blog today
and the theme is Anything Christmas.

I am not sure if you have seen the Poppystamp Whittle dies,
but there are 14 of them and all so cute and reasonable, too!
I seem to want them all but was lucky enough to snatch up a few ot them
and one being the Poppy Stamps Whittle Moose.
Isn't he just the cutest?

I started my card with a pretty paper from a 6 x 6 paper pad.
I used a Gelly Roll Stardust pen here and there for some sparkle.
I also die cut a circle from Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Circles
and inked the top with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Broken China.

Next I die cut my Cheapo Dies Forest,
colored it with Copics and added SNS Sparkling Snow Glitter.
both to the trees and the snow below.

There are really pretty and fun DT designs on the
Dies R Us challenge blog, why not pop on over and check them out
and join in with us...you could win a prize!!

Winter Scene Challenge

Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters our challenge is being hosted
our lovely 'sistah'  Vickie.
She has chosen the theme of
'Create A Winter Scene.

My card is from a class I took back in December
at Shipshewanna Indiana called Purple Haze.
We made three cards and this one is one of my favorites.

Sorry I can't tell you the dies used as it was all precut for us,
but I do know the beautiful papers are from Our Daily Bread...
they are gorgeous and we got an extra small pack of them to bring home.
I also added Red Berry Nuvo to the wreath,
glitter to the flower and
'snow' here and there.

So if you will pop on over to The Sisterhood,
you will an amazing amount of beautiful 'winter scenes'!

Ink Resist Technique Challenge

A new challenge begins today on
Back To Basics and Beyond
and it is 'Resist Technique'.
If you haven't ever done it,
give it a try and not only is it easy but it is FUN!

For my technique instructions,
I watched a video HERE on Splitcoast stampers for my card.

I used a sentiment stamp,( that once I find where I set it, I will let you know the name)
and used TH Distress Embossing ink which I have had forever
and just opened it, I normally use Versmark.

I also used Sparkle N Sprinkle Clear embossing powder.
The other inks I used were Distress inks Broken China,
Mowed Lawn, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans.

The tree stamp is a Shenna Douglas 'Silhouette Trees'.

Pop on over to BBB and see all the other DT beautiful creations!!

Short and sweet, I know, but I had very little time today!

the angel die was die cut in a dark blue metallic paper.

The last card has quite a bit going on....
